It started with our own family.
Popsicle Asia was founded by Maureen Knight, who grew up in Moscow, Russia — a city that sees real winter every year. Her husband is from London, where you get to experience low winter temperatures too. Naturally, their children visited their grandparents for Christmas regularly, which meant they needed proper winter clothing again and again.
The problem? Before long, the family had drawers full of jackets, hats, scarves, winter pants and boots being stored in tropical Singapore. With kids outgrowing winter wear so quickly, that it would no longer fit for the next trip.
It didn't make sense. Quality winter wear is expensive, bulky and rarely worn here. Yet without it, families travel is uncomfortable, cold and unprepared.
So in 2014, Maureen started Popsicle Asia — the easy way for Singapore families to rent high-quality, on-trend winter and ski clothing for babies, children and adults of all sizes.
